Job Summary:The Mobile Engineer has a strong focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment on all systems. To successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments, the Mobile Engineer is expected to demonstrate technical expertise in one craft area (e.g. Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, etc.) and be multi-skilled in others.Areas of Responsibility<ul><li>Maintenance<ul><li>Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.</li><li>Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings.</li><li>Maintain HVAC systems and equipment at optimum levels (e.g., cleaning, inspecting, changing parts).</li><li>Study and become familiar with the various items of equipment, and the methods required to use them properly, that are required in everyday activities.</li><li>Monitor pricing and work quality of outside contractors.</li><li>Where necessary, record readings and adjust to ensure proper operation of equipment.</li><li>Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.</li><li>Review monthly Client Service Request summaries to pinpoint and correct recurrent operational problems.</li><li>Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>Assist the Facility Management team with emergency situations (e.g., fire alarms, chemical spills, hazardous conditions, inoperative critical equipment) and take appropriate actions.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Safety<ul><li>Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary</li><li>Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
